About - Me

Who am I? Good question! I guess that depends on who you ask. Anyhow, I am a university graduate currently looking to establish a career in a technical field. I have a B.Sc. in a combined concentration of Computer Science and Mathematics and a genuine passion for technology. I am fascinated with “what’s next” and continually obsess over new technology, products, and trends.

This obsession carried over to a small business in the late 90’s. I started Prevost Computers in the attempt to bridge the gap of a hands-on approach and the theoretical teachings of university. It gave me an outlet that kept up with the technology-du-jour. I recently closed Prevost Computers in an attempt to focus on a more permanent career path. Don't worry, I'll never stop tinkering and am always up for the challenge of helping family and friends with their technical dilemmas.

Besides my computer business, I’ve worked for over a decade within a family business specializing in commercial property maintenance. I started out as a labourer and worked my way up and I am now responsible for managerial and administrative tasks. I’ve been crew leader for as many as 12 people, been in charge of scheduling, and have priced contracts in excess of $100 000. I credit this job for my excellent work ethic, developing my time management skills, and being my bread and butter.

As for hobbies, they mostly revolve around technology and computers.....actually just put me down for anything that involves technology, especially computers. I enjoy all sports but am the master of none. Actually, if you need a demo on proper technique for roller-balding yourself into a hospital emerge, just give me a call.

About - Music

Music isn't really a hobby for me but it is definitely one of my passions. If you know me then you know I'm always listening to something. The following are what you could consider currently in my rotation. I hope to keep this page up to date and encourage any suggestions on new bands to check out.

Metric - Fantasies

Metric is one of my favourite Canadian indie rock bands.....I'm listening to this album right now as I am composing this portion of my site.

The XX - xx

Great debut album from this band out of London. I also noticed a song off this album being featured in a Samsung mobile phone commercial. Thanks to good ol' Rob for pointing this one out

MGMT - Oracular Spectacular

MGMT has become a little more popular these days. I find they have a unique sound and I'm not sure what genre they fit into but I do know I like it.

TV on the Radio - Dear Science

I like uniqueness of each song on this album. I can't really find any overlap in each composition making it refreshing to listen to. I recently saw a Nike commercial featuring one of their songs....although it wasn't from this album
